Police have booked a Japanese woman for attempting to intrude into the home of BTS member Jungkook.
According to the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul, authorities booked the 50-year-old Japanese woman, identified only as ‘A,’ on suspicion of attempted burglary on the 16th, and an investigation is currently underway. At the complainant’s request, police also applied charges of violating the Stalking Crime Punishment Act.
Police reported that ‘A’ allegedly attempted multiple times to unlock the entrance of Jungkook’s private residence in Yongsan District, Seoul, between the 12th and 14th of last month.
The report was filed on the 14th of last month. As ‘A’ is not currently in the country, authorities have not yet questioned the suspect.
Previously, in August, police referred a Korean woman in her 40s to prosecutors in October for breaching Jungkook’s apartment parking lot, on suspicion of burglary and violating the Stalking Punishment Act. Additionally, a Chinese woman in her 30s, who also attempted a burglary, received a deferred prosecution.
