BTS member Jungkook has achieved a Guinness World Record.

According to the Guinness World Records, Jungkook became the “K-pop solo artist with the fastest time to reach 1 billion streams” on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify, on the 7th of last month.

In an announcement on their official website, Guinness stated, “Jungkook achieved 1 billion streams with just three songs on March 27th.”

Jungkook accomplished this record in just 409 days with his songs “Stay Alive,” a collaboration with Charlie Puth titled “Left and Right,” and “Dreamers,” the official soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This record breaks the previous record held by Blackpink’s Lisa by a margin of two days.

Meanwhile, Jungkook recently garnered attention for donating 1 billion won to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital.
