Singer Chungha is set to release her first single of the year, continuing her global rise.
Her agency, MORE VISION, announced on February 3 that “Chungha will release a new digital single on February 9 at 6 PM.”
A teaser video, released earlier on Chungha’s official social media and YouTube channel, captured attention with a stunning blue and black cake featuring a calendar marking Chungha’s birthday. When a match lights the cake, the words ‘New Single’ and ‘Release: Feb 9, 2026’ appear, sparking curiosity.
Released in celebration of Chungha’s birthday on February 9, the single captures her emotions and inner changes as she enters her 30s. Fans have shown increased interest in this single, which arrives approximately two months after her Christmas digital single ‘Christmas Again,’ released last December.
Chungha has garnered significant love as a leading female solo artist in Korea, known for her unique vocal tone and charismatic performances.
Through hits like ‘Roller Coaster’ and ‘Gotta Go,’ Chungha has made an impression with her diverse performances and clear vocals, captivating global audiences with multi-language tracks such as ‘Dream Of You’ and ‘Demente (Feat. Guaynaa).’
In addition to expanding her musical spectrum through collaborations with various domestic and international musicians and drama OSTs, Chungha is currently appearing on ENA’s ‘Change Days,’ where she engages with viewers.
