Daniel, who was expelled from the group NewJeans, is set to host a live broadcast.

On the morning of the 12th, Daniel posted a photo with the message “for those who waited 12 jan 7pm” as the first post on a newly created account.

Previously, on the 11th, a social media account believed to belong to Daniel gained traction across online communities. This was due to his older sister, Olivia Marsh, being the sole account he followed and who reciprocated the follow. With the announcement of a live broadcast on this account, the speculation that it was indeed Daniel’s account turned out to be true.

This post, marking Daniel’s first message since his expulsion from NewJeans, quickly drew attention. Daniel’s legal representative at Law Firm HwaWoo also announced that Daniel would have a live message session on his personal channel that afternoon.

Through this session, Daniel plans to express gratitude to fans worldwide, share recent updates, and interact with them. However, Daniel’s representatives clarified, “This live session is purely for communication with fans and is not related to any legal proceedings.”

Meanwhile, on the 29th of last month, his agency Adore stated in an official statement that following the confirmation of the exclusive contract validity ruling, they held extensive discussions with Minji, Hani, Daniel, and their families. Adore also reported on the status of discussions with three members, excluding Haerin and Hyein, who had previously expressed their intention to return.

Adore revealed that they would continue with Hani and are still in discussions with Minji, but notified Daniel of the termination of his exclusive contract.

Subsequently, Adore filed a lawsuit against Daniel and others for damages amounting to approximately 43.1 billion won. Daniel’s legal team also appointed representatives and submitted legal documentation for an immediate response.
