NewJeans’ ‘Ditto’ has surpassed 900 million streams on Spotify.
According to Spotify, as of April 1st, the B-side track ‘Ditto’ from NewJeans’ single album ‘OMG’ has accumulated 901,684,500 streams. It is the group’s second song to surpass 900 million streams, after the title track ‘OMG.’
Released on December 19, 2022, ‘Ditto’ is a reinterpretation of the Baltimore club dance music genre with NewJeans’ unique style, characterized by dreamy humming, warm sound, and the members’ gentle vocals.
NewJeans entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 main song chart and the U.K. Official Singles Top 100 with ‘Ditto’ at the time. This unprecedented achievement came just six months after their debut. In Korea, it topped Melon’s annual chart in 2023.

‘Ditto’ continues to be loved, winning ‘Best K-Pop Song in Japan’ at the Music Awards Japan 2025 and earning a ‘Triple Platinum’ certification in the streaming category from the Recording Industry Association of Japan in October, a first for a K-pop girl group song. Listeners’ preference for the song’s emotional and lyrical winter vibe has underpinned its long-term popularity.
NewJeans has accumulated a total of 15 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify, including ‘Ditto,’ ‘OMG,’ ‘Super Shy,’ and ‘Hype Boy.’ The total cumulative streams of all their songs on Spotify exceed 7.4 billion.
Meanwhile, their agency, Ador, has sued member Danielle for a serious breach of contract and is seeking 43.1 billion won in damages from Danielle, a family member, former representative Min Hee-jin, and others.
