The show ‘Hip-hop Princess’ has introduced the seven-member global hip-hop group ‘H//PE Princess’ (also called Hype Princess or Hipee).

On the final live broadcast of Mnet’s Korea-Japan collaborative project ‘Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-hop Princess’ aired on the 18th, global fans chose the members of a new hip-hop group set to debut simultaneously in Korea and Japan in the first half of 2026.

The final lineup of Hype Princess for their debut includes Kim Doi, Kim Sujin, Coco, Nam Yujoo, Nico, Lino, and Yoon Seoyoung (alphabetically).

The 16 finalists delivered diverse concept stages in three units—’SPEAK UP,’ ‘Bless U,’ and ‘gOOd!’—starting with the opening group performance of “Do My Thang (Princess Ver.)” Kim Sujin, Min Jiho, and Coco were selected as solo intro performers, each showcasing powerful rap and dynamic performances. Throughout the track competitions, contestants demonstrated their self-producing skills, creating memorable performances that reflected their unique identities, culminating in a grand finale.

Along with announcing the final debut members, the official group name was revealed. The seven debuting members are Kim Doi, Kim Sujin, Coco, Nam Yujoo, Nico, Lino, and Yoon Seoyoung. The name ‘H//PE Princess’ embodies their ambition to become the world’s No.1 hip-hop artist group.

H//PE Princess will debut simultaneously in Korea and Japan under music labels from both countries in early 2026, with plans to expand their activities globally beyond Asia. Nam Yujoo, who ranked first in the final line-up, addressed global fans on behalf of the group, saying, “Although this chapter closes, Hype Princess will continue proving themselves in many ways. Please support us.”

First broadcast in October, ‘Hip-hop Princess’ marked a meaningful journey over 10 weeks toward creating a new global hip-hop group. Participants actively engaged in the entire creative process, including music, choreography, styling, and video production. They carried on the legacy of ‘Unpretty Rapstar’ through fierce track competitions showcasing their talents.

Starting from different languages and cultural backgrounds, Korean and Japanese contestants built musical synergy and forged friendships beyond borders, united by their shared goal of debuting. While ‘Hip-hop Princess’ has ended, the fiercely crafted Hype Princess will represent voices of both Korea and Japan on the global hip-hop stage. Strong support for the debut members is rising, with much anticipation for their future endeavors.
