On the 29th, the agency announced, “We have renewed our contract with FTISLAND, FNC Entertainment’s founding artist and a pioneer in K-band Hallyu, based on the deep trust and faith built over many years.”

The agency added, “It is especially meaningful to continue with FTISLAND in 2026, which marks FNC Entertainment’s 20th anniversary, as they have significantly contributed to the company’s growth and history.”

Debuting in 2007, FTISLAND has released numerous hit songs including “Love Sick,” “Thunder,” “Until You Come,” “After Love,” “I Hope,” “Love Love Love,” “Severely,” “PRAY,” and “Wind,” popularizing band music. They solidified their position as a leading K-pop band by officially debuting in the Japanese major market, topping the Oricon charts, and expanding their presence through international tours.

Last year, the band demonstrated their continuous musical evolution and growth with the ‘FTestination’ project, releasing a series of digital singles that conveyed their musical direction and goals.

FTISLAND has also garnered praise for their strong live performances and stage presence as headliners at major music festivals in Korea. They continue to be sought after by university festivals, showcasing their widespread popularity and cross-generational appeal.

Beyond group endeavors, members have also pursued solo careers in acting, musicals, and variety shows, steadily developing their individual talents. They continue to thrive both collectively and individually, showcasing synergy and diverse accomplishments.

FNC Entertainment plans to establish a dedicated team for FTISLAND, promising systematic and comprehensive support for their future activities.

FTISLAND commented on the renewal, stating, “We are happy to continue together. We have been a strong support for each other and recognize the importance of our relationship.”
