Singer G-Dragon returned to Seoul after his world tour. His 39th and final performance of the tour showed improvement from the opening concert in Goyang last March, but still left questions regarding his vocal condition due to the continued use of selective live performances.
G-Dragon’s third world tour ‘Übermensch’ encore ‘2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN SEOUL: ENCORE, presented by Coupang Play’ was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul, on the 14th. G-Dragon met with Korean fans through the encore performances starting on the 12th, and this was the final performance of the three-day event.
The ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]’ concluded after visiting 16 cities, including Tokyo, Manila, Osaka, Macau, Sydney, Melbourne, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Hanoi, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Paris, with a total of 36 performances. G-Dragon wrapped up the tour with a finale in Seoul.
As would be expected from an artist capable of filling the Gocheok Dome alone for the tour’s final show, there was plenty to see. Staying true to his status as a fashion icon, he showcased various glamorous outfits and performed a parade of hits like ‘POWER’, ‘Heartbreaker’, ‘Crooked’, ‘Who You?’, and ‘Too Bad’.

During the second song, ‘HOME SWEET HOME’, and encore performances of ‘Tears Only Fool’ and ‘We Like 2 Party’, Taeyang and Daesung joined him, exhibiting the synergy of a complete Big Bang. World-renowned beatboxer Wing participated in ‘Heartbreaker’, and dancer Bada joined in for a ‘Smoke’ challenge during ‘Too Bad’, adding sparkle to the guest lineup. Various stage devices heated up the atmosphere, while the use of trolleys brought him closer to the audience, enabling skillful interaction with fans.
However, the live performance left something to be desired. After receiving criticism at the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’ on the 29th of last month, and the previous year’s ‘SBS Gayo Daejeon’ stage, as well as the March concert in Goyang, there was still a significant presence of AR during this finale.

While his rapping was stable, gaps appeared in his vocals during choruses and climaxes. He often skipped choruses with light choreography or rhythmic gestures, opting not to sing certain vocal parts. Additionally, during songs, he handled lower notes than the original or faded endings, exhibiting a throat-straining singing style.
Despite this, G-Dragon led the long performance expertly with his strong vocal range and rap skills. He appeared more comfortable than the previous outdoor concert in the cold at last March’s first tour show. Fans responded enthusiastically to every song, maintaining the heat of the live venue. The concert affirmed the presence of G-Dragon as an artist and the lasting appeal of his music to numerous excited fans.
