Group (G)I-DLE is kicking off 2026 with a new digital single.
(G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) announced their comeback with the release of a teaser video titled ‘Play the whole world in Mono’ on their social media channels. This new single marks their return to the domestic scene approximately eight months after their eighth mini-album, ‘We are.’
The ‘Play the whole world in Mono’ video provides a glimpse into the concept of (G)I-DLE’s upcoming single ‘Mono (Feat. Skaiwater),’, scheduled for release on the 27th.
The monochrome video hints at a new direction for (G)I-DLE, a departure from their previous vibrant concepts. Its minimalistic yet sophisticated beat is raising expectations for an expanded and innovative musical world from the group.
British rapper Skaiwater, known for his unique voice and rapping style, features on the digital single. The collaboration with Skaiwater, renowned for his eye-catching fashion and visuals, is generating anticipation for the synergy between them.
