Global band Hrtz.wav is set to showcase their unique “Youth Waves” with their title track ‘NINETEEN,’ which all members co-wrote.
On the 27th at midnight, Kakao Entertainment released a highlight medley video featuring snippets of all six songs from Hrtz.wav’s first mini-album, ‘The First Wave,’ via their official social media and YouTube channel. Even in this brief video, the band’s intense energy is palpable, raising global fans’ expectations.

The energetic performances of Yoon Young-joon (keyboard), Dane (bass), Kten (guitar), and Hagiwa (drums) are complemented by Lian’s (vocals) trendy and captivating voice. This creates a cohesive sound where each member’s individuality shines, with each song blending different energies to leave a strong impression.
The title track ‘NINETEEN’ particularly stands out; all five members contributed to its lyrics, showcasing Hrtz.wav’s identity and musical color.
The song honestly expresses the thrill and emotions of being nineteen from the members’ perspectives. Its lively and compelling sound heightens curiosity about the full track and debut stage performance.
‘Awkward,’ an original song by members Lian and Dane, captures the clumsy heart of youthful love.
Previously, they demonstrated their solid musical skills by participating in writing and composing ‘Tomorrow’ and ‘It’s Okay’ during the Mnet global band-making survival ‘Still Heart Club.’ The synergy between the members in ‘Awkward’ is expected to result in another high-quality song.
The album also includes dynamic songs like ‘Dream,’ ‘Highlight,’ and ‘I AM SO FINE,’ which portray post-breakup emotions with a catchy rhythm. Additionally, ‘Close To Me’ symbolizes the first page of a long journey with fans. Together, these six songs capture the various “Youth Waves.”
‘The First Wave’ is an album from the globally iconic band Hrtz.wav, formed by the top five position holders from last December’s ‘Still Heart Club.’ The album promises to create new waves, illustrating diverse moments of youth through music and signaling the band’s beginning and leap forward.
Hrtz.wav will release their first mini-album, ‘The First Wave,’ both online and offline at 6 PM on April 8th. They will also hold a debut commemorative fan showcase at 8 PM at the Oil Tank Culture Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
