ITZY has once again ignited excitement for their comeback by unveiling the teaser for their title track ‘Cake.’
On July 26th, at midnight, JYP Entertainment officially released the music video teaser for ITZY’s new mini-album ‘KILL MY DOUBT,’ featuring the title track ‘Cake,’ on their official SNS channel.
In the short video, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna come together, forming a cake with their hands and depict the burning candles with their fingers, showcasing a powerful and attention-grabbing choreography. The poses of them pretending to eat the cake and the lyrics “ITZY ITZY like that!” raise anticipation for ITZY’s signature cool energy and performance.
The title track ‘Cake’ is a collaboration between the summer queen ITZY, who has decorated every summer with hits like ‘ICY,’ ‘Not Shy,’ and ‘SNEAKERS,’ and the hit-maker Black Eyed Pilseung, creating a fresh synergy for this summer.
For their first comeback of 2023, ITZY has prepared diverse promotions. On the 3rd, they released the MV for ‘BET ON ME,’ followed by the MV and performance video for ‘None of My Business’ on the 24th and 25th, respectively. On the 25th, they shared reaction videos for ‘BET ON ME’ and ‘None of My Business,’ sharing the excitement for their comeback.
From July 27th to August 9th, they will hold a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. On the day of the album release, they will host an online and offline showcase at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul Olympic Park to celebrate their comeback with domestic and international fans.
Meanwhile, ITZY’s new album ‘KILL MY DOUBT’ and the title track ‘Cake’ will be simultaneously released worldwide on July 31st at 6:00 PM.
