The group Izna made their mark as global rookies with an award and performance at the ‘Golden Disc Awards’.
Members Mai, Bang Jimin, Coco, Yoo Sarang, Choi Jung Eun, and Jung Sae Bi attended the ’40th Golden Disc Awards with Upbit’ held at Taipei Dome on the 10th, where they received the Best Performance Award and delivered a special stage.
Izna began their special stage with a cover of Wonder Girls’ ‘Be My Baby.’ The group, known for their diverse cover performances since their debut, once again showcased their versatility, bringing a sophisticated and polished flair to the original song’s charm and delivering a high-quality performance. Their strong harmony and bright energy elevated the festive atmosphere, receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience.
On the subsequent main stage, Izna more distinctly showcased their performance spectrum. Their ‘Mamma Mia’ stage captivated with intense charisma and powerful energy, while ‘FAKE IT’ shifted to a tender and dreamy mood, displaying contrasting charms. Seamlessly connecting these different moods, Izna proved their wide expressive range and stage presence by delivering completely different emotions with each song.
That day, Izna received the Best Performance Award, acknowledging them as a powerful rookie central to the global trend.
