Group Izna has reaffirmed its global influence. The British music magazine NME has selected ‘Racecar,’ a track from Izna’s second mini-album ‘Not Just Pretty,’ as one of ‘The 25 best K-pop songs of 2025’ on its official website.
NME praised ‘Racecar,’ which expresses the energy of youth advancing fearlessly towards their dreams like a racing car, saying, “A road trip at sunset evokes special feelings, and ‘Racecar’ is the perfect soundtrack for that moment.”
NME further emphasized the musical completeness and sensory appeal of ‘Racecar,’ stating, “The song gradually builds up and then explodes at the synth-filled chorus. Just when you think it has ended, the richer sound continues, naturally drawing the listener into their dreamlike world.”
Izna recently showcased its growth on the global stage through an interview with the renowned Italian weekly magazine PANORAMA, receiving positive reviews as “the discovery K-POP has been waiting for.” Additionally, they have solidified their presence as a ‘global super rookie’ by surpassing 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, just one year after debut.
Izna will perform at the 2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan on the 13th and 14th, continuing their busy schedule until the end of the year. Known for their diverse musical spectrum, Izna is set to captivate global fans once again with their solid live capabilities and performances.
