Izna’s Track ‘Racecar’ Named One of NME’s Best K-Pop Songs of 2025

The group Izna has reaffirmed its global influence.

The English music magazine NME has included the song “Racecar” from Izna’s second mini-album “Not Just Pretty” in its list of “The 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2025.”

NME praised “Racecar” for capturing the energy of youth racing toward dreams like a speeding car, stating, “A road trip at sunset evokes special emotions, and ‘Racecar’ is the perfect soundtrack for that moment.”

NME further highlighted the song’s musical completeness and sensual charm, noting, “The song builds up and then explodes with a chorus filled with synths. Just when you think it’s ending, the richer sound draws listeners naturally into their dreamy world.”

Izna recently confirmed their rising global presence in an interview with Italy’s renowned weekly magazine, PANORAMA, which described them as a “discovery that K-POP has awaited.” Just one year after debut, they surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify, solidifying their presence as a “global super rookie.”

Izna is set to appear at the 2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan on the 13th and 14th, continuing their busy schedule until the end of the year. Known for their diverse musical spectrum, Izna aims to captivate global fans once again with their strong live skills and performances.
