BTS member J-Hope is set to gift fans with a special present in the form of a new version of his first solo album, ‘Jack In The Box’, which was released last year.
On the 17th, Big Hit Music announced through the global fan platform Weverse that J-Hope’s solo album ‘Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)’ will be released on August 18th.
‘Jack In The Box’ is J-Hope’s first solo album, which was simultaneously released worldwide on July 15th last year.
‘Jack In The Box’, a collection of J-Hope’s unique attempts and challenges, was particularly praised for its fresh approach as it was released as a “Weverse Album” where fans could download the album and enjoy the songs through an application, in addition to domestic and international music platforms.
To allow more fans to enjoy ‘Jack In The Box’ in various forms, J-Hope devoted himself to preparing a physical album, ‘Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)’, before his military enlistment. Similar to ‘Jack In The Box’, J-Hope actively participated in the overall composition and planning of the album, infusing it with his own style.
‘Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)’ will include three live tracks performed by J-Hope at the U.S. music festival ‘Lollapalooza’, in addition to two instrumental tracks, added to the original tracks from ‘Jack In The Box’.
Furthermore, ‘Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)’ will feature new concept photos and diverse merchandise.
