Jimin and Jungkook Express Desire to Be BTS Again, Sparking Anticipation for Reunion

Jimin, Jungkook

The Swiss travel adventure of BTS members Jimin and Jungkook has officially begun.

On December 3, the first two episodes of Disney+’s original series “Is This Real?!” Season 2 were released. This episode featured the spontaneous 12-day friendship journey of Jimin and Jungkook, starting in the romantic setting of Switzerland.

Jungkook surprised Jimin at his home to kick off the trip. In a sleepy state, Jimin quickly packed his bags after Jungkook announced, “We’re leaving now.” Without knowing their destination, they set off in a car, sharing updates about their lives as they embarked on this journey.

The pair received a mission to “Travel for 12 nights with just a 20-inch suitcase,” and immediately began reducing their luggage, creating a lively atmosphere from the start. The real-life scenarios presented from the first episode heightened anticipation for future episodes. An endearing moment occurred when they chatted with J-Hope before the trip, sharing everyday moments that reflected their warm friendship.

As they traveled to Switzerland, the duo enjoyed the scenic drives and nature. They spent a leisurely time paddleboarding on Lake Cauma and took in the breathtaking views of the Alps at Furka Pass. Each explored Switzerland’s natural beauty in their own way, creating unforgettable memories.

As night fell, deeper conversations unfolded naturally. During a discussion about BTS, Jungkook expressed his eagerness to “record soon,” and Jimin echoed this sentiment, revealing a longing for music. When asked what they wanted to do most, they both answered “BTS,” adding “we’ve stocked up on plenty of logs,” igniting anticipation for their future activities.

Season 2 of “Is This Real?!” captures the chemistry and unpredictability between the two in varied missions and daily surprises. The Swiss journey becomes more elaborate in Episode 3. The season consists of eight episodes, exclusively on Disney+. Two episodes are available each Wednesday through December 24.

Meanwhile, BTS is preparing a new album for release next spring, followed by a large-scale world tour. They are actively engaging with fans across various platforms during their comeback preparations. Jin and J-Hope recently secured spots in the “FANS’ CHOICE MALE TOP 10” at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS held at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium on November 28–29, affirming their global popularity.
