LE SSERAFIM has unveiled their first-ever English song since their debut.
LE SSERAFIM (Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha, Eunchae) released ‘Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife (English Ver.)’ at 1 PM today (6th).
This is the first English song released by LE SSERAFIM, as they personally translated the lyrics of the track ‘Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife’ from Yunjin’s first full-length album ‘UNFORGIVEN’ and completed the English version.
The song revolves around the theme of ‘I wish for what is forbidden to me’ and incorporates the Jersey Club style rhythm, skillfully presenting the somewhat heavy subject of ‘taboo’ in an appealing manner. LE SSERAFIM infuses the concept of growth into breaking taboos and moving towards a new world.
Especially, the original version of ‘Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife’ gained significant attention for its performance, climbing up the ranks and entering the ‘Top 5’ of daily and weekly charts on major domestic music sites, receiving much love. Moreover, the song has achieved new personal bests on the Billboard charts (as of July 1st), reaching #70 on the ‘Billboard Global 200’ and #35 on the ‘Billboard Global Excl. U.S.’, steadily climbing the ranks by 90 and 54 steps, respectively, within a month.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will kick off their first solo tour, the 2023 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘FLAME RISES,’ on August 12-13 at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul. They will meet fans in a total of seven cities including Nagoya (August 23-24), Tokyo (August 30-31), Osaka (September 6-7), Hong Kong (September 30), Jakarta (October 3), and Bangkok (October 7-8).
