Min Hee-jin’s New Agency Auditions Draw Overwhelming Interest

Min Hee-jin

Min Hee-jin, former CEO of Ador, has announced her intention to create a boy group, generating significant interest in the auditions conducted by her newly established entertainment agency.

In October, Min Hee-jin founded a new agency called OK Records and completed corporate registration. Recently, she began accepting applications for a private audition through a well-known dance academy, drawing attention.

According to the announcement, applications for the audition were to be received online until 10 PM on December 4. However, the dance academy posted on its official account on the 4th with details about the ‘OK Records Private On-Site Audition.’

The dance academy stated, “Due to an overwhelming number of applicants exceeding expectations, we had to close the registration early to ensure smooth proceedings.” It was announced that details about the audition schedule and further instructions would be individually provided to the registered applicants.

With the news of the audition, predictions about Min Hee-jin’s full-scale entry into idol production have arisen. On December 4, Min Hee-jin appeared in a live broadcast on YouTube’s ‘Yeoido Only the Genre.’

In the broadcast, she spoke about her stance on a put option lawsuit with HYBE and discussed the OK Records audition, stating, “The academy simply included us in their regular auditions.”

As the representative of OK Records, Min Hee-jin expressed her desire to propose a new management style, “I want to shorten contract periods because standard contracts still have many flaws. At a time when change is needed, I wonder if I am fighting a seemingly futile battle,” she said, expressing her ambitions for new challenges.

Min Hee-jin commented, “I don’t think I’ll be creating a girl group next. Maybe in the future, but not immediately. If I do, it would be a boy group. Once the boy group comes out, wouldn’t it be a girl group next?” She revealed her plans for launching a boy group, attracting attention.
