I.M, the youngest member of Monsta X, will enlist in the military.
He is scheduled to enter a training camp on the 9th for basic military training before serving as an active-duty soldier.
During the “2026 World Tour The X: Nexus” concert, held on the 1st at the KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park, I.M bid farewell to fans, stating, “I will temporarily leave Monsta X after more than 10 years.”
During the same concert, I.M announced, “Since I have my brothers and Monbebe (the fan group’s name), I’m going to shave my head.” This led to an impromptu head-shaving ceremony on stage, where his fellow members took turns cutting his hair, generating significant buzz.
All other members of Monsta X have completed their military service. The remaining five members will continue their tour in April at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Chiba, Japan, and in May at Ookini Arena Maishima in Osaka.
