The meeting of BTS members RM and Jungkook has become a topic of interest. This is largely due to RM’s recent remarks about ‘disbandment’ and Jungkook’s dating rumors. Their simple act of sharing a late-night ramen meal together has captured public attention.
Early in the morning of December 10th, RM posted a tempting photo of ramen on his social media account, tagging Jungkook. Jungkook shared this on his account, indicating they enjoyed the meal together.

Amid the recent turbulence within the BTS fandom, primarily involving Jungkook and RM, their meeting attracted significant interest. Previously, on December 5th, rumors surfaced about Jungkook dating Winter, a member of AESPA.
The dating rumors spread online with alleged evidence pointing to tattoos of three puppies on both their forearms, Jungkook’s presence at an AESPA concert, Winter calling Jungkook by his real name during a live broadcast, couple-style nails on their ring fingers, and other matching items.
Both parties’ agencies maintained a ‘no comment’ stance on the dating rumors, leading to further speculation that they might be true.

Simultaneously, on December 6th, RM further stirred fans during a live broadcast by sharing honest thoughts about team activities. Following the dating rumors involving Jungkook, RM commented, “I’m not someone who can explain everything that happens. I have my shortcomings. But I’ll share what I can.”
This year, all BTS members completed their military service. Fans were eager for a complete comeback in 2025, but BTS has announced a comeback and world tour in 2026. RM explained, “Many are asking why we are skipping the second half of 2025. We didn’t want to either. I wanted to be active after discharge. There are things I can’t explain, and reasons we decided not to work in the second half of the year. I’m not at liberty to discuss those.”
RM admitted to pondering, “Should the team disband, or pause?” but reaffirmed their continued journey, citing mutual love and respect among team members and fans.
His live broadcast mentioned ‘disbandment,’ which alarmed fans, especially as it coincided with Jungkook’s dating rumors. This made his comments even more noteworthy.
Ultimately, RM apologized on Weverse on December 8th, saying, “I feel like I added to ARMY’s fatigue with the live. I’ve received many concerned messages.” He expressed regret, “I should’ve held back from going live. I just felt overwhelmed. I’m sorry. I’ll commit to making music, practicing choreography, brainstorming new content, and living well.”
While it was an ordinary meal, RM’s mention of disbandment and his meeting with Jungkook, who was involved in dating rumors, have drawn intense interest. People are curious about their conversation and how it might impact the team’s future.
