Twice sets a new record with their music video “THIS IS FOR” reaching 100 million views on YouTube for the 26th time.
The music video for “THIS IS FOR,” the title track of Twice’s fourth studio album, released on July 11, 2025, surpassed 100 million views on YouTube around 2 a.m. on February 13. JYP Entertainment shared a congratulatory image on its official social media channels, expressing gratitude for the attention and support from fans worldwide.
With this achievement, Twice now has 26 music videos with over 100 million views, including 20 promotional tracks from debut song “Like OOH-AHH” to “THIS IS FOR,” the English singles “The Feels” and “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE,” and four Japanese releases. Furthermore, they have broken their own record for the most music videos with over 100 million views by a female group worldwide, reaffirming their status as a top global girl group.
“THIS IS FOR” has been well-received for its lyrics about confidence and empowerment, along with its vibrant musical energy. The music video, portraying the playful chemistry and dynamic charm of the nine members in whimsical situations, has contributed to its popularity.
Starting from July 19-20 last year in Incheon, Twice embarked on their sixth world tour, “THIS IS FOR,” featuring 78 performances across 43 regions worldwide. The North American tour, which began in Vancouver on January 9, includes 35 shows in 20 cities and will continue to Washington, D.C., on the 13th and 14th. They will then expand their tour to include solo concerts at significant venues like Japan’s Tokyo National Stadium, marking the first appearance there by a foreign artist, as well as performances in Taipei and Europe.
