Virtual Girl Group ‘Eternity’ Surpasses 35 Million YouTube Views, Opening New Chapter for Virtual Idols

AI tech company Pulse Nine’s virtual idol group Eternity (IITERNITI) has amassed over 35 million cumulative views on YouTube, credited with opening a new chapter in virtual idols.

Building on their musical achievements from 2025, Pulse Nine announced plans to integrate art and technology throughout 2026.

Last year, Pulse Nine released their first full album, ‘Hello World,’ which boosted Eternity’s official YouTube channel to over 200,000 subscribers and helped them achieve a cumulative view count of 35 million for their content, affirming their global popularity.

Notably, the music videos for the album’s four tracks—’Wearing Sunglasses at Night,’ ‘Hello World,’ ‘Luv Or Dare,’ and ‘Ice Cream Heaven’—have all surpassed 1 million views, indicating increasing popularity over time.

Pulse Nine plans to extend Eternity’s musical success into AI art. Member Hyejin will officially debut as an AI artist at the World Art Festa, which runs until this weekend. During the exhibition, Hyejin will showcase ‘DTDT GMGM’ and ‘DTDT GMGM Multiverse,’ artworks that reinterpret K-pop’s visual elements using the ‘Synthography’ technique and generative AI technology. This suggests the evolution of virtual humans, such as AI idols, into ‘AI Beings’—creators of their own aesthetic value—a development drawing significant attention from critics.

Meanwhile, Pulse Nine will release a new music video for ‘Glitch’ this weekend and launch the ‘Vertical Music Video Series’ project, unveiling tracks from their album throughout 2026. This series will intricately weave Eternity’s unique universe through music and visual art, offering global fans a distinctive narrative experience that blends technology and emotion.

Ji-eun Park, CEO of Pulse Nine, stated, “Achieving 35 million cumulative views demonstrates the immense appreciation global K-Pop fans have for our experimental musical journey with AI artists,” adding, “In 2026, we aim to showcase Eternity’s unique artistic identity, which transcends technical perfection to touch human emotions, through AI artist Hyejin’s debut and the new music series.”
