The group BABYMONSTER is preparing for a comeback.
YG Entertainment announced on the 30th that BABYMONSTER’s third mini-album, “[CHOOM],” will be released on May 4th.
YG Entertainment posted an announcement titled ‘BABYMONSTER 3rd MINI ALBUM [CHOOM]’ on its official blog. Following the “2026 YG plan” previously revealed by executive producer Yang Hyun-suk, the agency confirmed the comeback date and unveiled a motion teaser showcasing the new mini-album’s concept.
The dynamic teaser features a powerful beat. A racing car, accompanied by a roaring sound, begins its journey, and the ‘CHOOM’ logo prominently appears along its path, quickening viewers’ pulses.
This powerful motion teaser hints at an unusual concept, heightening fans’ expectations. Although specific details remain undisclosed, Yang Hyun-suk previously hinted, “It will be an album unlike any shown before,” drawing attention to BABYMONSTER’s upcoming transformation.
The agency stated, “As the title suggests, the mini-album ‘[CHOOM]’ captures the thrilling moments of unity through music and dance. We have dedicated efforts to ensure that BABYMONSTER’s expanded musical spectrum is felt throughout the tracks, led by the eponymous title track, so please look forward to it.”
