YG Entertainment released an additional teaser for its ‘2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT’ on the 13th, further fueling anticipation for its global talent discovery project.
The new video showcased past training moments of YG artists such as TREASURE and BABYMONSTER, drawing significant attention. While each artist harbored different motivations and aspirations for joining YG, a common thread was their admiration for senior artists and unwavering trust in YG’s demonstrated success through “talent.”
This event underscores YG’s commitment to nurturing artists’ fundamental qualities and star potential. The audition is garnering particular attention because General Producer Yang Hyun-suk will be directly involved in the initial selection process. Rather than evaluating based solely on documents or résumés, the goal is to intuitively assess potential with his unique insight.
Adhering to this casting philosophy, YG has produced numerous global top stars, including BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, and 2NE1. Entries for the ‘2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT’ are open until the 28th, accessible via the YG audition website or the QR code on the poster. Individuals born between 2007 and 2015, regardless of gender or nationality, can apply by submitting a video under one minute, focusing on singing, rap, dance, visuals, or overall talent.
