BLACKPINK’s Jennie mentioned the contrast between her usual self and her presence on stage.
On the 16th, Elle Korea released an interview video of Jennie along with the article, “Jennie’s sincere voice only found in Elle. She’s usually shy, but when she’s on stage, she instantly transforms into the powerful BLACKPINK Jennie that the world pays attention to.”
In the revealed video, Jennie said, “Everyone who knows me would agree that I’m shy and quiet off the stage.”
She continued, “But that disappears when I’m on stage,” saying, “I become BLACKPINK Jennie Mode.”
Accompanying this, attention was drawn to Jennie’s photoshoot where her shyness completely disappeared.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has been conducting their second world tour, ‘BORN PINK WORLD TOUR,’ since October of last year, and it will conclude with the Seoul performances on September 16th and 17th.
This tour set a record in the history of global girl groups by earning a revenue of $78 million within just two months of starting the tour. The tour has been recognized as the highest-grossing concert tour by a girl group.
