BLACKPINK’s Jennie Unexpectedly Left During The Performance Due To Health Issues
On the 11th, YG Entertainment, their agency, announced through the fan community platform Weverse, “During the BLACKPINK World Tour [Born Pink] in Melbourne, Jennie was unable to complete the stage due to her deteriorating condition.”
According to the agency, Jennie showed her determination to continue with the performance until the end. However, based on the recommendation of the medical staff on-site, the agency took immediate measures to ensure she receives sufficient rest and stability.
It was conveyed that Jennie feels sorry for not being able to be with the fans until the end and wishes for a speedy recovery.
YG Entertainment stated, “We apologize to the fans who have been supporting BLACKPINK and attending the shows. We kindly request your understanding. Our company will do our best to support Jennie in her swift recovery.”
BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) has been in the midst of their largest-scale world tour, “BLACKPINK World Tour [Born Pink],” attracting approximately 1.5 million fans.
Previously, Jisoo tested positive for COVID-19 and was unable to participate in the BLACKPINK World Tour concert held at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on the 3rd and 4th.
