BTS member J-Hope has personally applied to be a training assistant.
According to an official from the army on the 31st, “It is true that J-Hope has been selected as a training assistant for the 36th Division’s recruit training center, and we understand that he applied for the position himself.”
J-Hope will undergo a certain period of training and evaluation to become certified as an assistant and will then fulfill his duties in that role.
J-Hope enlisted in the recruit training center of the 36th Division located in Wonju, Gangwon Province, on the 18th of last month. His expected date of completion of military service is October 17, 2024.
Starting with the oldest member, Jin, last December, all the BTS members have begun fulfilling their mandatory military service duties. Their agency, Big Hit Music, previously stated, “Our company and the members hope to engage in full activities as BTS until around 2025.”
Meanwhile, BTS will celebrate their 10th debut anniversary on the 13th of next month. The ‘2023 BTS FESTA’ commemorating the occasion will be held in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government. In particular, a special festival is scheduled to take place on June 17th in the Yeouido area of Seoul.
