YG’s rookie girl group, BABYMONSTER, has achieved over 3 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel even before their official debut.
According to YG Entertainment on the 17th, BABYMONSTER’s official YouTube channel surpassed 3 million subscribers at 1:08 p.m. on the same day. It took approximately 201 days since the channel was opened on December 28th of last year.
The number of subscribers on YouTube is considered an indicator of the loyalty and support of a dedicated fandom. This milestone signifies the birth of a “monster rookie” that has proven their solid skills and garnered intense interest from music fans worldwide.
Along with the subscriber count, the views on their content are consistently increasing. The videos posted on their official YouTube channel have accumulated over 500 million views, demonstrating their powerful global popularity. In particular, their pre-debut track, “DREAM,” is rapidly approaching 50 million views.
BABYMONSTER, the girl group introduced by YG after a gap of approximately seven years since BLACKPINK, has been receiving high expectations as an “all-rounder” with members from various countries such as Korea (Ahyeon, Haram, Rora), Thailand (Pharita, Chiquita), and Japan (Ruka, Asa) who possess vocal, dance, rap, and visual abilities.
BABYMONSTER is currently intensively preparing for their debut, aiming for September.
