
Actress Oh Ha-jo is set to appear in the Disney+ original series ‘Made in Korea’.
‘Made in Korea’ is a drama set in South Korea during the turbulent 1970s, a period marked by both chaos and rapid growth. The story follows Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), a man who attempts to reach the pinnacle of wealth and power by treating the nation as his personal enterprise, and prosecutor Jang Geon-young (played by Jung Woo-sung), who relentlessly pursues him. The series has garnered significant global interest as a highly anticipated year-end release even before its premiere.
In ‘Made in Korea,’ Oh Ha-jo portrays Lee Soon-i, a character embroiled in a major crime that sparks the series’ central events. Her stable acting is expected to enhance the drama’s engrossment.
Oh Ha-jo previously garnered attention for her role as archery coach Shim So-eun in SBS’s ‘Try: We Become Miracles.’ Her previous works also include Netflix’s ‘Mr. Plankton’ and ‘Goodbye Earth,’ JTBC’s ‘No Secret,’ and MBC’s ‘Chief Detective 1958.’
Viewers are highly anticipating her performance in ‘Made in Korea’.
The Disney+ original series ‘Made in Korea,’ starring Oh Ha-jo, will release episodes 3 and 4 on December 31st, followed by episode 5 on January 7th, and episode 6 on January 14th.
