On January 7, photos of Karina volunteering at an orphanage, along with a message from the institution, spread online via X (formerly Twitter).
The orphanage stated, “Yoo Ji-min (Karina’s real name) visited as a volunteer to create a special day for the babies. She made eye contact and played with each child, and shared a warm meal she had prepared. Her willingness to take photos and sign autographs brought immense joy and cherished memories for the caregivers present.”
They added, “The caregivers said they would pass down the photos taken with the children as treasured mementos. We sincerely thank Ji-min for dedicating her valuable time during her holiday to this warm gesture.”
The shared photos show Karina, with her hair tied up and dressed comfortably, spending time with several children.
She cradles children and feeds them milk or baby food, creating a touching scene.
Last month, Karina garnered attention for her role as Sister Rafaela in ‘The Christmas Song,’ a project from Shin Woo-seok’s city fairy tale series, created in collaboration with Google Gemini.
During that project, Karina was also seen holding a baby and feeding it with a bottle. She commented, “It was a happy time as Rafaela. I wish everyone a peaceful night. Have a joyful Christmas.”
