
Actress Bae Jong-ok is set to star in ‘Lady Dua’.
The Netflix series ‘Lady Dua’, confirmed for a February 13 release, will tell the story of Sarah Kim (played by Shin Hye-sun), a woman who desires to be a luxury brand even if it means being fake, and Moo-kyung (played by Lee Jun-hyuk), the man who tracks her ambitions.
In the series, Bae Jong-ok takes on the role of Choi Chae-woo, the chairwoman leading Samwol Department Store. Choi Chae-woo is an absolute power player in the business world, concealing a cold and sharp judgment behind her relaxed smile. She doesn’t easily trust others and views all relationships as “transactions,” willing to make any decision to maintain her position as chairwoman of the major corporation, Samwol Department Store.
Bae Jong-ok has established herself as a “trustworthy actress” through intense emotional performances across various fields, including dramas, films, and theater. Known for her irreplaceable acting skills that form the central axis of every project, she is anticipated to display her distinctive presence once again by completing a mysterious narrative in ‘Lady Dua’.
