As the central figure driving the drama’s narrative, he convincingly portrayed the character’s sense of responsibility and charisma. As Korea’s sovereign and the sole uncle to a young nephew burdened by the pressure of a corporate event, he offered a comforting and strong presence, telling his nephew, “I’m here to fulfill my duty as your servant, Your Highness.” When Seong Hee-joo became embroiled in a scandal because of him, he resolutely decided on marriage, adding depth to the character with his bold choice.
Byun Woo-seok’s steady gaze and charisma in the drama’s ending scene captivated viewers and garnered an enthusiastic response.
