Jang Dong-joo collapsed in ‘From Today, I’m Human.’
The ninth episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘From Today, I’m Human’ aired on the 20th, showing the scene where Hyun Woo-seok (played by Jang Dong-joo) collapses from a heart attack after swapping fates with Kang Si-yeol (played by Lomon).

In the episode, Kang Si-yeol unexpectedly kissed Eun-ho (played by Kim Hye-yoon), who proposed they date, and said, “I can’t treat dating like a joke. If we’re going to do this, let’s do it properly. Date me.”
Stunned by his sudden action, Eun-ho was unable to sleep, and Kang Si-yeol confessed, urging her to reciprocate his feelings genuinely.
The awkwardness between them disappeared quickly as they enjoyed a delightful workout date. Kang Si-yeol increased the excitement by intertwining his fingers with Eun-ho’s, remarking, “We’re on a date, holding hands as we walk.”
Kang Si-yeol then suggested they go on a trip over the weekend, under the guise of an away game. Eun-ho, determined to find a job, said, “You can focus on soccer; I’ll earn the money for the trip.”
Despite securing a supermarket job, Eun-ho encountered continuous mishaps, losing money instead of earning it, and was fired after just one day.
Eun-ho decided to sell an air conditioner from home, earning 200,000 KRW, and handed the money to Kang Si-yeol. When discovered, she wept bitterly in front of him.
Kang Si-yeol comforted Eun-ho warmly, saying, “It’s okay, Eun-ho. We’re doing well. Let’s not be too anxious,” embracing her.

At the end of the episode, Hyun Woo-seok, who took on Kang Si-yeol’s fate, collapsed with a heart attack right before an international match. His condition was critical, with fears he might die.
Upon hearing this, Kang Si-yeol was conflicted, pondering, “Was what happened to Woo-seok originally my destiny? Is it my fault he might die in my place? Can reverting to our original fates resolve this?”
Eun-ho replied, “We can’t reverse it. Even if we could, I couldn’t save your friend or change your fate.”
