HYBE’s global girl group KATSEYE recently appeared on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ where they shared an anecdote about meeting BLACKPINK’s Rosé.
On the 5th (Korean time), KATSEYE appeared as guests on ‘The Tonight Show.’
During the broadcast, the group discussed their excitement about being nominated in two categories, including Best New Artist, at the 68th Grammy Awards, and their feelings about performing on stage.
They mentioned feeling very nervous after meeting stars like Bad Bunny and Miley Cyrus at the event.
Yoonchae, the group’s only Korean member, expressed her admiration, stating, ‘I’ve been a fan of BLACKPINK since I was nine and really wanted to meet Rosé.’
She recalled, ‘When I met Rosé, I tried to greet her in Korean, but I was so nervous that the words wouldn’t come out. Instead, I greeted her in English, and she asked if I could speak Korean. I then said ‘Annyeonghaseyo’, and she was so kind and amazing.’
