The final episode of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘Taxi Driver 3’, which aired on the 10th, saw Lee Je-hoon deliver satisfying justice.
The finale followed Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) as he uncovered the truth behind the unjust death of his subordinate, Yoo Seon-ah (played by Jeon So-ni), during his military service. Do-gi then took down the ultimate villain, Oh Won-sang (played by Kim Jong-soo), who orchestrated the scheme.

In the episode, Yoo Seon-ah discovered that military superiors were plotting dangerous activities under the guise of training. Suspecting their motives, she followed them and uncovered a plan to kill soldiers during training.
Defying orders, Yoo confronted a colonel, stating, “I know what you were planning for us. What do you gain by causing senseless deaths? What were you going to do with those bomb vests? If you don’t answer, I’ll take what you’ve planted and go to the military prosecutors.”
Despite her efforts, Yoo found her path blocked at every turn. Anticipating trouble, she recorded the situation with a body cam, leaving a message: “If anything happens to me, I believe you’ll find this, Captain Kim Do-gi.”

After learning of Yoo’s mysterious death, Kim Do-gi returned to the military to uncover the truth and found the body cam Yoo had left behind. He declared, “Yoo Seon-ah sacrificed herself to save her comrades,” adding, “Against those who defy common sense, we must respond in unconventional ways,” as he formulated his revenge plan.
He then discovered Oh Won-sang was reprising the operation that had failed because of Yoo.
Oh’s plan was to send soldiers to the northernmost point of the DMZ, fire artillery to kill them, frame it as a North Korean act, and use it as a pretext for an attack. This would provoke North Korea, leading to war—a scenario Oh intended to create.
“Then shall we start a war, too?” Kim Do-gi challenged Oh’s scheme. At the exact time and place Oh planned to fire, Kim arrived with civilians in tow.
Oh’s plan faltered because he couldn’t fire on civilians. Nevertheless, Oh coldly ordered, “What does it matter if they’re civilians? North Korea killed them anyway. Connect remotely now,” and pressed the button to launch the artillery.
Instead of explosions, fireworks erupted. Enraged, Oh aimed a gun at Kim, yelling, “Do you know what you ruined, you worms?”
Though injured by Oh’s bullets, Kim retorted, “We’ll never lose to you,” and turned his gun on Oh, bringing him down. They both plunged off a cliff, ending Oh’s tyranny.
