Lee Je-hoon Transforms into Gambler in ‘Taxi Driver 3’ Reaching 14.3%

In ‘Taxi Driver 3,’ Lee Je-hoon uncovers the truth about a ‘murder without a corpse’ while investigating a ‘match-fixing crime.’

In the sixth episode of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘Taxi Driver 3’ that aired on the 6th, Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) targeted the culprits of the ‘murder without a corpse,’ Im Dong-hyun (Moon Soo-young) and Jo Sung-wook (Shin Joo-hwan), with a unique revenge plan.

The sixth episode set new viewership records, peaking at 14.3% with a national average of 12%, maintaining first place in its time slot. It also topped the December rankings across all channels and programs, with ratings reaching 3.6% and peaking at 4.21% among viewers aged 20-49.

The Rainbow Heroes grew suspicious of the hierarchical relationship between the murderers Im Dong-hyun and Jo Sung-wook. To punish the gambling-addicted Im Dong-hyun, Do-gi transformed into ‘Gambling Do-gi.’ With the help of the Rainbow Heroes’ hidden ‘hwatu expert’ Choi Soo-im (played by Jang Hyuk-jin), he approached Im Dong-hyun. During a game with Do-gi and Soo-im, Im Dong-hyun suddenly left after receiving a phone call, heading to his gym’s office.

The Rainbow Heroes aimed to find out what Im Dong-hyun was planning in the office. Go Eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin) disguised herself as a ‘problematic streamer’ to investigate the office. She discovered a secret space inside after noticing Im Dong-hyun appearing out of nowhere.

Do-gi planned to own the entire gym to uncover the secret space. He, Soo-im, and Im Dong-hyun sat for another gambling match, and Do-gi manipulated Im Dong-hyun to take his money. Im Dong-hyun, falling for Do-gi’s plan, wagered the gym, and lost to Do-gi’s ’38 Garang.’ Now the new gym owner, Do-gi turned the tables with thrilling action sequences that enthralled viewers.

Owning the gym, Do-gi soon uncovered the dark secrets hidden by Im Dong-hyun and Jo Sung-wook. Behind a mirror wall in the office was equipment for online sports betting. Shockingly, Do-gi saw on the monitors the Jin-gwang University volleyball team games, realizing that Im Dong-hyun had been manipulating outcomes in conspiracies with Jo Sung-wook.

Meanwhile, Jang Representative faced a startling truth regarding Park Dong-soo (Kim Ki-chun). While helping Park Dong-soo regain lost memories, Jang discovered someone impersonated his son, Park Min-ho, luring him into a deliberate car accident. Park Dong-soo left a cryptic message that Jang Representative decoded as a car plate number, shocking him.

Towards the episode’s end, it was revealed that Jo Sung-wook was the driver who hit Park Dong-soo. An unidentified passenger who incited him captured viewers’ attention. The audience eagerly anticipates uncovering the true villains, resolving the entangled incidents from 15 years ago involving the university volleyball team’s murder, the cover-up car accident, and the match-fixing scandal, and returning the missing Park Min-ho to his father.

‘Taxi Driver 3’ airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
