tvN’s new voice documentary, ‘I Am K’, has unveiled a preview video.
Scheduled to air on Tuesday, April 7th, and Wednesday, April 8th, tvN’s ‘I Am K’ is a documentary exploring the reasons and essence of the K-content phenomenon. It offers diverse perspectives and deep insights from individuals involved in K-content both domestically and internationally. Drawing on the ‘Global Hallyu Survey’ conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, this interview-focused voice documentary will drive the entire narrative through a question-and-answer format. Its aim is to present new perspectives and interpretations of the ongoing K-content syndrome.
The preview video, released on April 1st, features prominent figures representing the K-movie and K-drama phenomena. Subtitles reading ’30 countries, 27,400 voices’ and ‘What is the most loved K-drama of 2025?’ appear alongside Korean cultural content enthusiasts living overseas, as artists express curiosity about their works’ potential rankings.

Kim Min-ha of the drama ‘Typhoon Officer’ wonders, “Did it make it into the top 10?” Lee Junho comments, “It would be great to be number one, of course.” Lim Yoon-a of ‘The Tyrant’s Chef’ anticipates, “It should be in a decent rank, right?” And Lee Jung-jae of ‘Squid Game’ remarks, “That’s difficult,” expressing curiosity about the rankings. Meanwhile, Lim Si-wan and Byun Woo-seok’s surprised reactions to the rankings build anticipation for the main broadcast.
‘I Am K’ will air its first episode on tvN at 10:10 PM on April 7th, with the second episode following at 10:40 PM on April 8th.
