‘Cashero’ has unveiled its character stills.
The Netflix series ‘Cashero’ revolves around “Sang-woong,” a salaryman struggling with marriage and housing costs, who gains the power that grows stronger with the money in his hands. It portrays the life of a hero torn between daily expenses and superpowers. ‘Cashero’ has released stills of TEAM Sang-woong.
Featuring Sang-woong (played by Lee Junho), his girlfriend Min-sook (Kim Hye-Jun), Byun Ho-in (Kim Byung-chul), and Bang Eun-mi (Kim Hyang-gi) from the Korea Superpower Association, the character stills capture their unique personalities and narratives. Despite being superpowered, they resonate with surreal empathy and raise expectations for the actors’ performances.
First, Sang-woong is seen clutching cash while fighting against many foes, and rescuing Min-sook from falling debris, suggesting his unexpected heroic journey after gaining superpowers. His transformation from an ordinary local government employee to a relatable hero sparks curiosity.
Min-sook’s unusual expression reflects concern over Sang-woong’s powers that cause money to vanish as he uses them. The once diligent couple saving for their wedding faces a new dilemma, piquing interest in their choices.
Byun Ho-in, who claims to lead the Korea Superpower Association, and member Bang Eun-mi, appear resolute, capturing attention. Their proposal to Sang-woong to save the world introduces a conflict, pulling him into a dilemma, adding interest to the plot. Byun Ho-in can pass through walls with alcohol, whereas Bang Eun-mi’s psychokinetic powers grow stronger the more she eats. With their unique conditions, how they collaborate as a team draws curiosity alongside whether Sang-woong, Byun Ho-in, and Bang Eun-mi can maintain world peace.
