Actor Park Bo-gum recalled his immense popularity during his ‘Mokdong ulzzang’ days.
The February 20th broadcast of tvN’s ‘Bo-gum Magical’ unveiled the third day at the barbershop with the trio Park Bo-gum, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Lee Sang-Yi.
After finishing their late shift the previous day, the three brothers faced a ‘drama enthusiast’ customer on the third day at the barbershop, with the exception of Lee Sang-Yi, who was away to escort a village resident for a birthday bath.

The customer requesting a haircut shyly confessed, “I’ve been waiting for this moment,” as Park Bo-gum adeptly trimmed the back of his head.
The customer further revealed he was a viewer of Park Bo-gum’s recent work ‘You Have Done Well,’ joking, “My wife is a fan of yours,” evoking laughter.
Additionally, the customer surprised everyone by recalling a scene from Kwak Dong-yeon’s work in ‘Queen of Tears,’ where his wife found a golden statue, and referred to Kwak Dong-yeon as a ‘golden statue.’ The customer admitted, “I like dramas more than most men.”

During a short wait before the dyeing was complete, Park Bo-gum admired the customer, saying, “Sir, you must have been very popular in your younger days. You must have stolen many hearts.”
The embarrassed customer praised Park Bo-gum’s humility, asking, “Don’t you also admit to having been popular?” To which Park Bo-gum bashfully confessed, “I stole quite a few hearts myself.”

Eager to know more, Lee Sang-Yi inquired about Park Bo-gum’s high school popularity before his debut. Park Bo-gum reminisced, “I received quite a few gifts on Pepero Day and Valentine’s Day during my ‘Mokdong ulzzang’ days.”
He recalled, “Do you remember when people would make Pepero hearts? I got big ones, and people even came from other schools to see me. Everyone knew my name.”

Amused by the continuous confessions, Kwak Dong-yeon jokingly remarked, “How could everyone know a regular high school student’s name? I didn’t know my older brother’s name,” evoking laughter. Yet, Park Bo-gum persisted, “When I took the bus to school, people would follow me on the bus.”
