Actors Park Hyung-sik and Park Gyu-young will star in Netflix’s new series ‘Perfect Relationship.’
Netflix has confirmed the production of the new series ‘Perfect Relationship’ and revealed the casting lineup of Park Hyung-sik and Park Gyu-young. The series focuses on an office romance where hierarchical relationships are reversed when ‘Na Jeong-seok,’ the flawless CEO of a camping outdoor brand, encounters his former military superior ‘Woo Ah-mi’ as a new employee.
The story of ‘Perfect Relationship’ unfolds as Jeong-seok, once a timid individual who struggled to adapt to the military, now a capable CEO of a camping company, meets Ah-mi, her former superior, a special forces operative known for her bravery, who is trying to build a new career after military service. The duo, who were once senior and junior in the military, meet again in a company setting, leading to unexpected developments.
Park Hyung-sik, known for his stable acting and delicate emotional expression in works like ‘Strong Woman Do Bong-soon,’ ‘Suits,’ ‘Happiness,’ and ‘Doctor Slump,’ will portray Jeong-seok. He is set to captivate viewers with his genuine portrayal of Jeong-seok’s contrasting past and present. Park Gyu-young, who has demonstrated versatility in various Netflix series such as ‘Sweet Home’ Seasons 1 and 2, ‘A Good Day to Be a Dog,’ and ‘Squid Game’ Seasons 2 and 3, will play Ah-mi. She will bring the character of Woo Ah-mi, a new employee and former special forces ace known as ‘the snake,’ to life with a mix of strength and charm.
Nam Sung-woo, who naturally captures emotions even within fantastical settings in works like ‘My Lovely Liar’ and ‘My Roommate Is a Gumiho,’ directs the series, which promises to deliver a warm, character-driven romance. Screenwriter Kim Ha-na, known for creating engaging and relatable works such as ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘My Secret Romance,’ also contributes to the anticipation for ‘Perfect Relationship.’
