“Show Me the Money 12” returns after four years, promising diverse entertainment. On the morning of the 15th, Mnet’s “Show Me the Money Season 12” held its production presentation at the Grand Ballroom of the Eliena Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul. The event was attended by the production team and eight producers: Zico & Crush, Gray & Loco, Jay Tong & Hucky Shibaseki, and Lil Moshpit & Jay Park.
The 12th season of “Show Me the Money” will feature various challenges and trials. This year, qualifiers will be held in 32 regions, including Seoul, Gwangju, Jeju, and globally, welcoming even more contestants.
CP Choi Hyo-jin explained, “It’s been approximately four years since we last produced this program, so the number of participants was high. The participants showcased outstanding skills and unique charms. We hope viewers will focus on their musical styles and charms.”

He added, “As it’s been a while since our last season, we gave considerable thought to the show’s structure. We expanded the regional qualifiers previously held only in Seoul and added global qualifiers. Participants from 32 regions allowed us to hear rap in various languages,” hinting at the renewed excitement.
Additionally, there will be a companion program, TVING’s “World of Yakcha,” which continues the parallel world narrative of “Show Me the Money.” CP Choi Hyo-jin added, “This separate content delivers a new narrative while maintaining a parallel world. We have inherited and developed our previous concepts while adding new missions. Watching the first broadcast of ‘Show Me the Money’ will help viewers understand the parallel world of ‘World of Yakcha.’ Enjoying both programs will maximize the entertainment experience,” he explained.
Each producer also highlighted their individual strengths. Zico stated, “As artists, we traverse various genres. We will encourage participants to attempt not only what they excel at but also other genres to fully showcase their potential. Our focus is on reaching both fans and the general public through broadcasting, satisfying both audiences.”

Jay Park emphasized teamwork, saying, “Lil Moshpit and I share similar tastes, and our chemistry is great. We’ve known each other since before H1GHR MUSIC, so we have a lot of fun together.”
Gray added, “I’ve worked with Loco for a long time. We understand each other with just a glance,” continuing, “As ‘Show Me’ returns after a long hiatus, we feel a responsibility to bridge core fans with the general audience, given the program’s popularity.”
Meanwhile, “Show Me the Money 12” is the twelfth season of South Korea’s flagship hip-hop survival program, “Show Me the Money,” which has produced numerous star rappers and hit songs since its first broadcast in 2012. The program is expanding its scale with a record number of applicants, the most episodes to date, and an expansion to OTT platforms. The first broadcast airs at 9:20 PM tonight.
