The finale of ‘Single’s Inferno 5’ saw the formation of its final couples, sparking curiosity about their real-life relationship statuses.
The final episode of Netflix’s ‘Single’s Inferno 5′, released on the 10th, featured the contestants’ ultimate choices.
First, Kim Min-ji and Song Seung-il became a couple. Kim Min-ji garnered attention by confessing her feelings for ‘Seung-il’ through an acrostic poem, stating, “I have a strong competitive spirit and love winning and being first, so I think I like Seung-il.”
Next, Lim Soo-bin and Park Hee-sun chose each other, leaving the inferno hand-in-hand. They captivated viewers with affectionate conversations, remarking, “It must be fate,” and “We think alike.”
Choi Min-a Soo and Lee Sung-hoon also chose each other, forming a final couple. Choi Min-a Soo, who had been dubbed a “villain” for her “stringing along” tactics, candidly expressed her feelings before the final day. She stated, “I think I acted according to my feelings without pretense. I worried about receiving hate for my actions, but I tried to act freely regardless.”
She also shed tears while expressing gratitude for the experience, saying, “There were hard times, joyful times, exciting times, and some disappointing moments. I’m truly grateful for these experiences.”
In a confession to Lee Sung-hoon made in English, she said, “I feel like when I’m with you, a version of myself that I like comes out, more than with others. I can’t imagine leaving this place without you,” a declaration that moved him to tears.
Additionally, Lee Joo-young, who received choices from both Kim Jae-jin and Yoon Hyun-jae, ultimately chose Kim Jae-jin. Kim Go-eun also surprised many by expressing her feelings for Woo Sung-min, selecting him over Jo Yi-gun and Shin Hyun-woo. In total, five final couples were formed.
Although these couples formed in the final episode of ‘Single’s Inferno 5’, their real-life relationship statuses have not been confirmed. However, after the broadcast, SNS posts emerged showing Lim Soo-bin and Park Hee-sun watching the finale together, leading to speculation that they are indeed a real-life couple.
