On January 9, Tiffany Young attended a production presentation for SBS’s Studio Prism global audition show ‘Veiled Cup’ in Mokdong, Seoul. Other attendees included 10cm’s Kwon Jung-yeol, Ailee, Paul Kim, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, and PD Lee Hong-hee.
Since its planning stage, ‘Veiled Cup’ has garnered attention as ‘the world’s fairest audition judged solely on voice.’ An expanded version of ‘Veiled Musician,’ the show features top three contestants from nine Asian countries (South Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Laos) who will compete in this unprecedented international vocal competition. The series is poised to highlight national pride and serve as the climax of this global project.
Regarding her participation, Ailee shared, “After ‘Veiled Musician,’ I greatly enjoyed listening to the performances. I joined because I’m excited to hear how much more Asian vocalists can impress us.” She added, “Since I can speak English, I thought it might help in conveying emotions when contestants sing in English, which may have led to my casting.”

Tiffany Young also explained, “I was fascinated by the idea of a vocal survival show spanning nine countries, which sparked my interest in joining.” She added, “We’ve completed recording up to the semifinals, and listening to the contestants sing reminds me of when I first fell in love with music—like recalling my first love. I believe viewers will also experience this emotion.”
‘Veiled Cup’ will premiere on January 11 at 4:40 PM.
