The ‘Shin I-rang Law Office’ has unveiled its main poster, showcasing its unique legal partners Yoo Yeon-seok and Lee Som as ghost lawyers.
SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama, ‘Shin I-rang Law Office,’ which premieres on March 13, is a unique adventure. It follows Shin I-rang, a ‘possessed lawyer’ who helps restless spirits find closure, and Han Na-hyun, a ‘cold-blooded elite lawyer’ focused on winning cases. Combining thrilling genre elements with warm humanism, the drama aims to satisfy viewers seeking both excitement and humor.
A previously released teaser poster introduced the ‘Shin I-rang Law Office,’ located in Okcheon Building Room 501, shrouded in incense smoke and marked by a wall covered in talismans, under the tagline “Defending Unseen Truths.” The main poster now offers a clearer look at this mysterious space. With an old-fashioned interior, lawyers Shin I-rang (Yoo Yeon-seok) and Han Na-hyun (Lee Som) stand amidst traditional folk art-inspired deities and restless spirits in the background. This arrangement suggests the office is more than a mere law firm, connecting to an invisible world.
Shin I-rang, dressed smartly in a black suit and holding a fan, stands casually with a mischievous smile, as if the line “Welcome, we’re ghost specialists” comes to life through him. In contrast, his partner Han Na-hyun exudes a completely different vibe with her unwavering posture and intense gaze, embodying the image of a composed elite lawyer. She adds tension even in the eerie setting filled with spirits. The dynamic between this contrasting duo—Shin, who coexists with unseen entities, and Han, who only believes in visible facts—highlights the main intrigue of their partnership.
Another focal point in the poster is the presence of familiar-looking deity and ghost faces behind Shin I-rang and Han Na-hyun, all resembling Shin’s face. This hints at the various spirits Shin will encounter through possession, appearing through him as a child, an old man, a female student, and more, each with different backgrounds and stories.
This setup foreshadows Yoo Yeon-seok’s diverse transformations within the series, showcasing a ‘character parade’ as he embodies different stories and emotions via possession each episode. This promises to inject tension and unexpected humor into the plot, offering a fresh and engaging experience.
The production team stated, ‘The main poster captures the world of ‘Shin I-rang Law Office’ and the contrast between its two leads. Yoo Yeon-seok expresses an effortlessly charismatic presence, while Lee Som conveys unwavering seriousness, creating both tension and humor.’ They added, ‘Through possession, Yoo Yeon-seok will portray a new character each episode, expanding the show’s entertainment value. Experience the essence of chilling yet exhilarating satisfaction.’
SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Shin I-rang Law Office’ premieres on Friday, March 13, at 9:50 PM.
