EXO to Release Solo Reality Show on the 11th… Traveling to Geoje and Tongyeong

EXO's Ladder to World Travel

The group EXO has teased a reality show.

EXO’s solo reality variety show, “EXO’s Ladder to World Travel – Geoje & Tongyeong Edition” (hereafter referred to as “EXO LWT”), will finally be unveiled on August 11th at 11 a.m. on ‘Wavve’.

On the first broadcast on the 11th, the mystery-filled journey of EXO members to Geoje and Tongyeong in Gyeongsangnam-do for the fourth season of “EXO LWT” begins. The members, including those who have completed their military service, reportedly couldn’t hide their excitement as they embarked on a trip together after a long time.

As soon as they arrived at Gimhae Airport, the starting point of their journey, members were faced with an extraordinary ladder featuring “Luxury Cars” and “Old Cars.” Members who quickly gathered their wits for ladder climbing captured the attention with the question of which vehicle they would choose for their journey.

Continuing on, when the members arrived at a restaurant in Geoje, they were taken aback by the unexpected appearance of a mysterious rule while they were looking forward to a delicious meal. Despite the initial surprise, members started their meal according to the mystery rule. Enjoying the taste of Geoje’s delicacies like fresh local sashimi, dried anchovy side dish, grilled fish, and spicy soup, they eagerly looked forward to showcasing their eating skills in the upcoming mukbang (eating broadcast).

Furthermore, D.O., whose sense of entertainment was in full swing, reportedly played the role of an ‘entertainment instructor’ within EXO. He encouraged a member who wanted to eat more by saying, “If you want to eat more, make us laugh at least once.” During the meal, he also showcased his wit by presenting impromptu poems (N-haengshi) and cracking jokes among the members caught in the quagmire of N-haengshi.

Later, the members divided into two teams randomly through ladder climbing and arrived at Geoje Botanical Garden, the largest indoor botanical garden in Korea, to take on a team mission. They meticulously planned their strategies, sprinted with all their might, and engaged in fierce competition while exploring the entire garden. The appearance of unique missions like ‘Human Curling’ on a giant slide and the ‘EXO Pass Code’ that only the ‘EXO Experts’ could pass raised curiosity about which team would emerge victorious.
