‘Made in Korea’ Stars Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung, and More in Striking Vogue Photoshoot

Disney+’s ‘Made in Korea’ has unveiled a photoshoot for the January issue of ‘Vogue’, highlighting the complex relationships within the series.

Set in 1970s South Korea, a period of both chaos and growth, ‘Made in Korea’ tells the story of Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), who aims to reach the pinnacle of wealth and power by using the country as a business model, and Prosecutor Jang Gun-young (played by Jung Woo-sung), who relentlessly pursues him to the brink.

The newly released Vogue photoshoot captures the striking presence of the main cast, including Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung, Woo Do-hwan, Seo Eun-soo, Jung Sung-il, Noh Jae-won, and Park Yong-woo, drawing significant attention.

The seven stars’ solo shots, set in retro spaces with a cool tone, use dynamic compositions and character placement to visually express the relationships between their roles.

In Hyun Bin’s solo shot, where he plays Central Intelligence Agency Section Chief Baek Ki-tae, Woo Do-hwan appears as his brother and military officer Baek Ki-hyun. Conversely, Hyun Bin also features in Woo Do-hwan’s solo shot, illustrating their intertwined relationship. Jung Woo-sung, portraying Prosecutor Jang Gun-young, and Seo Eun-soo, as Investigator Oh Ye-jin, along with Noh Jae-won, Jung Sung-il, and Park Yong-woo, similarly appear in each other’s frames, hinting at the intricate narratives among their characters.

A chess game scene creates palpable tension among Baek Ki-tae, his superior and Central Intelligence Agency Director Hwang Guk-pyeong, and his colleague Pyo Hak-soo.

In the group shot, the seven characters face different directions, symbolizing their diverse goals and desires and emphasizing the depth of their relationships.

Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung, Woo Do-hwan, Seo Eun-soo, Jung Sung-il, Noh Jae-won, and Park Yong-woo captivate with their restrained charisma and overwhelming chemistry. Fans can find their photoshoot and the story of ‘Made in Korea’ in the January issue of ‘Vogue’.

‘Made in Korea’ will premiere exclusively on Disney+, releasing two episodes on December 24, two on December 31, one on January 7, and one on January 14, for a total of six episodes.
