Singer and actress IU has shared her views on romance.
On the 24th, the YouTube channel ‘이지금’ uploaded the second episode of ‘Mini Palette’ titled ’21st Century Project ‘Complete’ (With Team Daegunbuin)’. Guests included Byeon Woo-seok, Yoo Soo-bin, and Lee Yeon.
In the video, Byeon Woo-seok recalled a scene completed with ad-libs, stating, “A scene filmed with Soo-bin wasn’t going well.”
Yoo Soo-bin explained, “It’s a scene from the second episode, filmed after some time had passed. The two grew closer, and their affection increased, making it more challenging.” Byeon Woo-seok added, “My feelings of love grew because I loved more deeply.”
Lee Yeon joked, “If you loved, it means your love was initially this small,” to which IU responded, “Exactly. When you truly love, you don’t necessarily keep talking about it. Love is simply something that lies beneath the surface of the heart.”
After a moment of silence, Byeon Woo-seok said, “These days, I think expressing love is wonderful. People need to express it,” and laughed. When Yoo Soo-bin told him, “I love you, brother,” Byeon Woo-seok replied, “I love you too,” emphasizing, “That’s why you need to express love.”
Meanwhile, IU has been publicly dating actor Lee Jong-suk since 2022, marking their fourth year together. The couple reportedly grew close while hosting SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ in 2012.
At the time, Lee Jong-suk expressed his feelings on a fan cafe, referring to their relationship as “the fruit of a long one-sided love,” while IU shared that they had been growing fond of each other as longtime colleagues.
Although breakup rumors have surfaced, all proved false.
