The entertainment industry is abuzz with major events.
Actors Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin are tying the knot this afternoon at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The couple, who have been publicly dating since 2015, announced their wedding last month.
Lee Kwang-soo, known for his close friendship with Kim Woo-bin, is set to officiate the wedding. Initially, there was speculation that D.O. (Do Kyung-soo) would perform a celebratory song. However, he is scheduled to attend the ‘2025 Melon Music Awards’ (MMA), making a wedding performance impossible.
While many fellow actors are expected at Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin’s wedding, the MMA will draw a large number of singers. D.O. will also join his fellow EXO members at the MMA.
The MMA begins at 5 PM at Gocheok Sky Dome, showcasing performers such as Jennie, Aespa, IVE, BoyNextDoor, RIIZE, PLAVE, Zico, and Woodz. Presenters include Yoon Jong-shin, Park Eun-bin, and Kim Min-ha.
Later, at 9:20 PM, the ‘2025 KBS Entertainment Awards’ will commence at the KBS New Building. Lee Chan-won, Lee Min-jung, and Moon Se-yoon will host the event, with nominees including Kim Sook, Kim Jong-min, Lee Chan-won, Jun Hyun-moo, Park Bo-gum, Kim Young-hee, and Boom.
The ceremony will feature a special joint performance by Kim Jong-min, Boom, Park Seo-jin, Shin Yoon-seung, and Park Cheol-kyu, as well as collaborative stages from 10CM, Song Eun-i, Young Tak, and Kim Yeon-ja. Viewers can also anticipate Lee Seung-gi’s tribute performance to Cho Yong-pil and a harmonious stage from Forestella.
