Singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun displayed his charisma as an MC at MBC Gayo Daejejeon, marking his return to the stage after two years.
Hwang Min-hyun made a dazzling return as an MC for the ‘2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon,’ broadcast live from the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, Goyang City, on December 31.
He led the broadcast smoothly and confidently, showing no signs of a career hiatus. He engaged with the audience, enhancing the atmosphere, and his uniquely soft voice lent gravitas to the ‘Gayo Daejejeon,’ which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
Hwang also delighted the audience with a charming smile when a fellow MC requested an ‘ending fairy pose.’ He showcased his ‘all-rounder’ talents by singing izi’s hit song ‘Emergency Room’ a cappella. His interviews with performers revealed his seasoned instincts as an artist in his 15th year since debut.
His handsome visuals also stood out. Hwang’s neat and clean aura complemented his stage outfits, captivating the audience. He appeared in an all-white suit for the opening, exuding prince-like charm, and displayed a sophisticated aura in a glamorous jacket during Part 2.
Toward the end of the broadcast, Hwang expressed his happiness, stating, “I was happy to usher in the New Year and my new beginning with such wonderful stages.” He is soon to meet his eagerly awaiting fans. The ‘Hwang Min-hyun Fan Meeting [Do Hwa Won]’ is scheduled for a total of six sessions: from February 6 to 8 at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and from March 4 to 5 at Tokyo International Forum C Hall.
