Actor Jung Hae-in has been offered a role in director Kim Seok-yoon’s new romantic comedy.
Xportsnews reports Jung Hae-in is a candidate for the male lead role in the new drama, currently titled “Love Virus.”
FNC Entertainment, Jung’s agency, confirmed he has received the offer and is currently reviewing the proposal.
“Love Virus,” a romantic comedy, is helmed by director Kim Seok-yoon, recognized for his meticulous direction in works such as “The Light in Your Eyes,” “Law School,” “My Liberation Notes,” and “More Beautiful Than Heaven.” The project is highly anticipated.

Jung Hae-in has solidified his reputation as a “romance artisan” through dramas like “Something in the Rain” and “One Spring Night.” He also earned praise for his charming chemistry in “Mothers’ Friend’s Son,” his first romantic comedy challenge in 2024.
He is also set to appear in Netflix’s “Such a Bad Love.” If he takes on “Love Virus,” it will mark another step in his romantic comedy career.
Xportsnews previously reported that actress Shin Se-kyung would take on the female lead role in “Love Virus.” Interest is growing regarding a potential co-starring of Jung Hae-in and Shin Se-kyung in this project.
